Ms Carmen Altamirano Wilson is a Registered Nurse and Certified Case Manager with over 35 years experience in the following:

Hospital and community visiting nurse experience with elder services and Public health planning background in Arizona and California. Work with transient and migrant persons in rural Arizona and California serving geriatric populations primarily.

Programs developer and coordinator for research of senior and adult care education focusing on caregiver burden, burn out, and widowhood. Developed caregiver support and education programs through the University of Arizona and recruited a tax base for ongoing classes presently coordinated through Pima Health Systems.

Deveopment of a nutrition booklet, a caregiver exercise regime, and a Spanish Telenovela (Soap Opera) addressing elder concerns specifically aging, disease, medical providers, medications, family dynamics, etc.

Supervision of RNS, LPNS, Certified Nursing Assistants with Pima County Home health overseeing over 200 elders both English and Spanish speaking. Supervision of team creating and developing classes for elders and caregivers through the YMCA.

Founder of Tucson chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Nurses, and the Tucson Chapter of the National Council on Aging.

Associate Professor at the College of Nursing at the University of Arizona working with minority students towards health and medical careers.

Supreme court certification as a Private Fiducuary with a business entity (Tucson Care Management) also a fiducuary.

Carmen was educated at the University of Arizona and the University of California at San Francicso
